On Saturday 22nd May 2021, Stody Lodge Gardens near Holt in north Norfolk will once again extend a special welcome and invitation to the LGBTQ+ community, as well as family and friends, to enjoy its 14-acres of technicolour rhododendrons and azaleas. Alongside its magical rainbow gardens, there will be talks, music, performances and much more.
This is the third year that Stody Lodge Gardens has held an event in support of the rural LGBT+ community in close conjunction with its local Pride events – Norwich Pride and Kings Lynn & West Norfolk Pride. Having had to remain closed in May 2020 due to the pandemic, the gardens are delighted to be re-opening and will have strict Covid-security measures in place so that visitors can relax and feel safe in its wide-open spaces.
Oasis has always tried to support this event and the last time we were able to enjoy a day at Stody Hall was in 2019.
Pre-booked time slots are not required. Pay at the venue. Open from 1pm – 5pm, entrance is £8 (payable by card or cash). Delicious takeaway tea and cake will be served at the Rainbow Tea Rooms in aid of Norwich Pride and Kings Lynn & West Norfolk Pride. Anyone interested in donating a cake, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you interested in joining us on this day. If you are, can you complete the on-line form below so we can gauge numbers. It is envisaged, weather permitting to have a picnic lunch before entering the venue so you may be contacted by email nearer to the date about arrival times and food you might be providing.
