The Northern Concord is a large group of transgender friends and partners who have been getting together for good times for more than three decades now.
The group first began back in the 1980s in Manchester with weekly meets at The Rembrandt Hotel in what was later to become the city’s renowned gay village.
Its grown and evolved over the years. The members now come from all over the country and the major celebrations each year are – Le Big ‘En and the Summer Event.
It been several years since their last event? They have changed hotel and there was some sort of virus that kept everyone away! Well time to dust off your best dresses and get ready to enjoy yourselves. The summer event for 2022 will be at the Makeney Hall Hotel, Milford, Belper, Derbyshire, De56 ORS. The event takes place from 2nd – 3rd – 4th September 2022, arriving Friday afternoon and departing Sunday after breakfast
The cost of the weekend, i.e. Friday & Saturday (2 nights), is just £420.00 per room for twin or double, or £480.00 for a suite. To stay on Thursday night on a B&B basis would be £110.00
