On Saturday, 17th May 2025, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming No7 superstar Donna to Oasis’s very own Glow Up Studio.
Donna is nothing short of a superhero; her special powers include an extraordinary ability to captivate her audience, showcase her artistry with finesse, and communicate with a warmth that is both kind and confidently assured.
During her demonstration, using our very own Lauren as her model, Donna took us through our daily facial cleansing and moisturising routine, clearly identifying the products that are available, how they should be used on different skin types and different parts of the face. Some of these products can expensive, so it was good to hear Donna advice that ‘less is more‘ and don’t forget to exfoliate. A full summary of Donna’s daily routine can be viewed and downloaded here.
We were also taken through a quick overview of colour correction and contouring. Donna advised that there are plenty of low cost CC creams and palettes. Set aside a little time to practice, but once again, don’t forget ‘less is more‘, particularly for aging skin. Use this link to find more information on colour correction.
Welcome, welcome, welcome. In addition to Donna, it was a pleasure to welcome many new faces to the Oasis family. Welcome Jade, Welcome Rachel and Lisa, Welcome Charli and Gill, Welcome Natalie, Welcome Amy and Ian, and Welcome to Oasisers old and new. So we concluded another meeting. It is a joy to know we have so much more to look forward to in Oasis World over the next few months. Our next meeting is on Saturday 21st June 2025, when we will have a Garden Party to celebrate our wonderful little gang, Oasis. I hope to see you there.
