April 18th – S&L Self-Harm Distraction Kits
S&L Self-Harm Distraction Kits are designed with young people in mind, although also suitable for adults. Amazing Founder Sally will tell us how the Kits delay, replace and reduce the need to self-harm by offering alternatives, relaxation items and techniques to encourage healthier coping strategies. harm recovery. We will have a raffle, so we can make a donation to Sally’s important organisation.

Greenpeace defends the natural world from destruction. Mark Crutchley will tell us more about the amazing work of Greenpeace and how they transform politics, industry and society to create a greener and fairer world.

June 20th – The Oasisbury Festival
Whilst Glastonbury enjoys a fallow year, the good folk of Oasis have stepped in to fill the void! Oasis are delighted to announce we will celebrate mid-summer with The Oasisbury Festival. Compered by the stunning Goldie Golden, we invite you all to enjoy an evening of festival style music.
Who will be top of the bill? Back by popular demand are The Paradox of Ravens, Jaqui Rose, Speaking Serena and Lyrical Lilly. Our special guest will strum Oasis at Oasis. Who else? Could it be you? What would you like to perform?
Food – Festival Food – burgers, hot dogs, baked spuds …. nothing healthy promise.

September 19th – Last Night Of The O’Proms
Hey O’Promenaders, come and enjoy an evening of pomp and circumstance. Are you ready to ‘bob and down’ to a sea shanty or two? We will celebrate one of our little old countries greatest traditions, in our very unique Oasis way. Enjoy Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Shostakovich, Britten, Mercury, May, Taylor and Deacon.

October 17th – NHS Health Checks
We welcome Spencer McCormack of Reed Wellbeing who will advise us on the free NHS Health Checks that are available to everyone aged 40+ . As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing some health conditions like high blood pressure, heart disease or Type 2 diabetes. A free NHS Health Check can help you reduce these risks and make sure that you stay healthy.

November 15th – Oasis Film Night
We will reprise the films shown at recent TDoR Film Festivals. Take a visit deep in the American countryside at the foot of the Catskill mountains, there we will find a small wooden house with a barn behind it. Back in In the 1950s and 60’s this was a very special Casa, a holiday home for one of the first clandestine networks of gender non-conformers in the US. We will also time travel to London in 1972 to meet four amazing women. Spend an amazing evening, with some very special stories.

December 19th – Petra 80 @ 80
Our very own Petra has led an amazing life. A women of a certain age; over the last 10 years, Petra has made 79 presentations to Doctors groups, trainee Doctors and Women’s Groups so they understand more about Transgender lives, and our needs in the Health Care System. Tonight, Petra will will make her 80th presentation, whilst telling us about the positive impact her amazing work has achieved.
