In an evening of chaos, with our question setter clearly making it up as she went along, hampered by the vaguest scoring system ever, Oasisquizers endured Lilly’s evening of question based madness.
On Saturday August 16th 2025, five intrepid teams took on Oasis resident smart bottom in our Summer Quiz. Who would triumph? Who would care? Who would laugh? Who would blow their funky horn? We all did! The Uni Through The Looking Glass, St Tranian’s Place of Learning, School of Interpretive Dance, University Of Soft Knocks and Approved Collage Of A Hard Life did Oasis proud with their amazing and worldly knowledge.
Our winners? St St Tranian’s Place of Learning ……………….oh the joy! Well done our team of super brains.

We carry on laughing through every age.

Up the junction, F Scott Fitzgerald plays along.
West Ham cheer that c is the speed of light
We carry on answering, loving Sabbath’s might.
So here’s to the cat, to the quotes, to the bands,
To Carry On films, Ohm’s law and Golden Sands.
Oasis meeting spirit, we’ll always belong,
Carry on dancing, the world in a song.
