The wellbeing of our membership is of the highest priority to our group, who are led by a steering committee, including a Secretary and Treasurer. We hold an AGM at our September meeting.
Oasis is run according to our Constitution plus our Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies. If you have any concerns about the running of Oasis or the safeguarding of any of our members, please do not hesitate to bring this to the attention of the committee or our Safeguarding Officer.
Conduct
Oasis is an informal group arranging social meetings for the Transgender community which also encourages wives or partners to attend the group meetings. We endeavor to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where no offense is likely to be caused.
Any members of the Trans* community and their wives or partners, who dress and present themselves in a socially acceptable manner, are very welcome to come along and join us.
Attendees of the group meetings are requested to behave responsibly, dress appropriately, and be respectful of the surrounding neighbourhood when arriving and leaving our meetings.
Oasis are a group for mutual friendship, based on mutual respect.
