It seems only yesterday that I attended the traditional yearly carol service at St John the Baptist on Timberhill in Norwich in 2023. How time flies.
This year I was joined by Vicky, Katie, Jules and Claire and after a delightful meal at Middletons Steakhouse and Grill, we meandered our way towards the church. The weather was exceptionally warm for December.
It’s a great pity that there isn’t a larger cohort from Oasis as there has been for many years before Covid.
Afterwards we met old friends and acquaintances notably Shirl Marshall and Roger Rayner, great friends of the late Barbara Ross.
As we head towards 2025 it only leaves me as the webmistress to thank Lilly and her happy band of helpers for the wonderful range of activities she has tirelessly put together in 2024. Your first task for 2025 is to check this page and pencil in the Oasis dates (always the 3rd Saturday of each month).
Finally I want to wish all the Oasis member local and distant a happy Christmas and New Year.
With over 185 followers to this website, if you all turned up all at once there would be traffic chaos and very little space between you all.
