The magnificent Sausage made a triumphant return to Oasis on Saturday, supported by Mash, Peas, and Gravy, with an encore of Apple Pie and Custard. So who was behind this timeless production? Our Rachel, who produced a minor miracle to produce 27 covers in such a tiny kitchen and an uncooperative oven. There were no silly sausages here.
The production was supported by Serena, with our unsung heroine Anna, who worked her way through a mountain of grubby plates, pots, and pans in the world’s smallest sink, all without the aid of rubber gloves or a safety net!!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to setting up and clearing away. Oasis would not be Oasis without you, and Oasis would not be the same without our sausage and mash evening.
It was a delight to welcome Pam back to Oasis. We were amazed and delighted to see Pam walk through the door; a remarkable recovery after her recent evening out in A&E. Sausages trump syringes; the food of the Gods. Keep well.
Now your intrepid reporter has a small admission to make; she forgot to take any photos! So perhaps, I’m the silly sausage!
They say that a picture paints a thousand words so I did manage to find a stunt sausage on the Internet and I can reassure you, dear reader, that no sausages were harmed in the production of this article.
Our second act was provided by Annabelle who provided us with an interesting and informative talk on skincare and hair removal, Important messages from Annabelle, exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate then moisturize; don’t double dip during waxing and make sure your electrolysis is blended for best results.

Annabelle kindly offered to try to answer any related questions. If you didn’t manage to note Annabelle’s contact details, please direct your question to me and I will endeavor tor you a reply.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our collection for Children In Need. We were able to make a £35 donation to this wonderful charity.
Who knows if football is coming home, but Oasis will be home again on Saturday 17th December. Three lions on my dress…
