Saturday 16th October was a day Lorraine and myself were looking forward to because it would be just our second visit to St. George’s Hall since Covid lockdowns, a chance to sit and chat with some of the best people on the planet😃
Serena was unable to attend so Rachel and Emma-Jane stepped forward to setup the hall ready for the evening, Rachel even remembered the milk👍
Lorraine and myself arrived early to assist with setting up but everything was already done, all I had to do was switch the kettle on. A big thank you to Rachel and Emma-Jane👏
Unfortunately, only a few ladies were able to attend this month, I guess for many different reasons but those of us who were there had a lovely evening, chat and tea was flowing freely.
A new lady, Susan was made very welcome and was lovely to meet Amanda in person, Zooming was good but meeting for real is much more fun!
Very much looking forward to the next Oasis meeting in November, hopefully will be well attended so we can all keep in touch and provide support for each other. Think about some of the newer ladies, simply by just being there you are supporting one another🤩

So glad for all that the Oasis meetings are now up and running again after a challenging year. You will really live up to your name after all this.
I hope to join you in the New Year. You are a long way sadly from where I live in Sussex. All must be proud of Beccie for taking this forward when Barbara was beginning to lose energy with running her Oasis at home.

Really looking forward to meeting you all in November. Me and my wife are making a night of it by booking a hotel room nearby. Hope there’s a good turn out for my wife she’s hoping to meet up with some friends who understand her life with a crossdressing husband.
