I wanted to get in touch as I have previously collaborated with Oasis with UEA Feminist Book Club. We have raised some money for the charity and have enjoyed a lovely event with everyone afterwards.
I am currently working on a project with the Young Norfolk Arts Trust for their festival in July. Our part of the project involves collecting audio memories, poems, and experiences about being LGBT+ in Norfolk to be part of an audio trail that people will be able to listen to. This will be possible with a free mobile app called Echoes.
I would love for you to be involved if you feel comfortable with it, please share it with your members and get in touch if anyone would like to take part. If you know of any other communities that may also be interested feel free to share it with them! Our aim is to amplify and celebrate all of the wonderful diverse people in our community. If you’re not able to record your story, you can submit a written copy or get in touch and we can help you record it.
